Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving (2)Just a quick little post to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. It is, of course, an American holiday that isn’t celebrated in other countries, although I’d like to think we can be thankful for our blessings every day of the year, no matter where we are.

My little Thanksgiving turkey is a bit of a mess. I drew it in pencil, and then — as usual — it wouldn’t scan. So, I grabbed an ink pen and tried to go over my lines. I didn’t do a very good job with it, though. So, here’s my beleaguered-looking turkey wishing you a happy day!

  5. Almost every culture has some sort of harvest festival that involves giving thanks to God. I remember one year my parents talked about Thanksgivings of their childhoods, and I said, “You didn’t have Thanksgiving. You grew up in Germany.” https://www.thoughtco.com/erntedankfest-thanksgiving-in-germany-1443975
