Today’s question is on architecture, and I’m happy to say that I knew the answer to this one. Even though I don’t do any architectural drawing, I’ve always been fascinated by the history of architecture and the life stories of famous architects.
So, here’s the question: What did I.M. Pei design outside the Louvre, in Paris?
- Obelisk
- Ziggurat
- Pyramid
- Sarcophagus
I suspect this will be an easy question for most readers. Be sure to visit again at noon (CDT) for the answer!
There must be several answers I think, for example of Washington National Gallery new wing, where there is a mini pyramid.

It was all part of a “Grand Louvre” project, and the story behind the project is quite interesting.

I misunderstood the question, I was looking for something else than the Louvre, anyway I ended up with another pyramid 🙂

I wrote the question exactly as it was on the quiz I took… and looking at it again, I agree that it wasn’t worded very clearly.

Do you mean physically outside of the Louvre or other than the Louvre? Because he’s famous for projects all over the globe.

I copied the question exactly as it was written in the art quiz… but, yeah, it could have been more specific. It’s referring to the structure he designed as part of “The Great Louvre” project.
