Dot Day!

Did you know… today is “International Dot Day“? I knew nothing about “dot day” until last February when I shared a post about a single dot.

I was having great fun with my Kuretake “dot marker” and after reading my post, Amy from Art by Amy commented on “The Dot”, a book by Peter Reynolds. She gave me information, too, about International Dot Day, all of which led to this inspiring video:

When you visit the official website, you can download an Educator’s Handbook with lots of information and activities. You can find additional resources through the International Dot Day Facebook page.

So, today, I hope you’ll join the celebration and make your own mark… who knows where it might take you!
