Art Quiz: Question 11

I’ve recently been doing a bit of figure drawing as part of my summer’s “remedial drawing crash course”. I’ve gone over body proportions again, had fun doing quick gestures, and came away feeling rather pleased with my results. I was pleased, too, that I knew the answer to this question about life drawing.

Question: Name the term to describe a figure that stands with one leg holding its full weight and the other leg relaxed.

  • Obelisk
  • Muse
  • Contrapposto
  • Model

Chance are you know this answer, too, so check back at noon (CDT) to learn more!
